2. Data we collect

When you sign up for the Basecamp Alpha waitlist we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The timestamp of your consent

3. Purpose & legal basis

We process your data solely to contact you about Basecamp Alpha and related Cortada events. The legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by checking the consent box on the signup form.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to communicate with you about the event you signed up for. If the event does not take place or you withdraw your consent, we will delete your data promptly.

5. Third-party processors

We use Resend (Resend Inc.) to deliver transactional emails. Your name and email address are transmitted to Resend solely for this purpose and are not used for any other purpose. Resend processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics. PostHog is configured in cookieless mode and does not set tracking cookies or collect personal data.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

7. Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw your consent to receive communications from Cortada at any time by emailing tobias@cortada.app. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
